What each tracking update means

The exact wording on the tracker can vary, but your parcel will typically move through these stages:
| Stage | What it means |
|---|---|
| Booked | Your shipment is registered in our system. |
| Collected / received | We have your parcel in the UK. |
| Departed UK | Your cargo has left the UK by air or sea. |
| Arrived in Pakistan | Your cargo has landed or docked in Pakistan. |
| Customs clearance | Your parcel is being cleared. This is included in your price. |
| Out for delivery | The local courier has your parcel and will call the receiver. |
| Delivered | Your parcel has reached your family’s door. |
How often does tracking update?
| Air cargo | Sea cargo | |
|---|---|---|
| Door-to-door time | 7–14 working days | 10–12 weeks |
| Updates | More frequent; the journey is short | Can go quiet for several weeks while at sea |
| Biggest gap | Between departing the UK and arriving in Pakistan | Between departing the UK and arriving in Pakistan |
A quiet tracker during sea transit is completely normal: the ship is simply at sea. Read how long sea cargo takes or how long air cargo takes for typical timings.
Tracking not working? Try this
- 1. Check the number: type it exactly as printed, with no extra spaces.
- 2. Give it a little time: a newly booked parcel may take a short while to show its first update.
- 3. Try again later: if the tracking page is busy or doesn’t load, refresh after a few minutes.
- 4. Use a different browser or device if the page won’t open.
- 5. Call your branch: we can check the status for you directly.
Sharing tracking with family in Pakistan
Send your tracking number to the receiver on WhatsApp so they can follow the parcel too, and make sure they keep their phone on around the expected delivery time. The local courier calls the Pakistani mobile number on the label before delivering, so double-check it’s correct when you book. Our guide on how to send a parcel to Pakistan explains how to label your box properly.
When your parcel is delivered
- ✔ Ask the receiver to check the box is sealed and undamaged before signing.
- ✔ If anything looks wrong, take photos straight away.
- ✔ Contact your UK branch as soon as possible so we can help.
Some items can’t be shipped at all, which can hold up a parcel in customs. Check GOV.UK’s guidance on prohibited and restricted goods and Pakistan’s customs rules before you send.
